IP Lawyers in the Library Legal Clinic volunteer

Clinic Timings and Location: Last Tuesday of the month between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. At the Sunnyvale Public Library ilocated at 665 W. Olive Ave in Sunnyvale.

SABA-NC is pleased to support the efforts of the Pro Bono Project and the Sunnyvale Public Library  to provide a special version of the Lawyers in the Library service, focused on intellectual property matters. This legal clinic has been offered  since February, 2012.  It has been a resounding success.

The Pro Bono Project is now seeking to continue the effort and expand.  The attorneys will be working with clients and answering questions specific to IP law. Sunnyvale has more patents-per-capita than any other city in the nation, and a wealth of independent inventors and developing businesses, so this partnership will bring your specialized knowledge to people who sorely need it. Please volunteer your expertise.

One CA licensed attorney who is familiar with copyright/trademark issues

Two CA licensed attorneys who are familiar with patents for each legal clinic.  It is very helpful if one of the patent attorneys is familiar with patent prosecution.

2 hours per legal clinic;

Currently openings for

2012:  July 31, August 28, September 25, October 30

2013: January 29
