Know Your Rights Community Immigration Forum

SABA-NC, in conjunction with the League of Women Voters, the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Sikh CoalitionACLU of Northern California, Alameda County Chapter, the Iranian American Bar Association, and numerous Community Partners, will be hosting a Know Your Rights / Community Immigration Forum on Saturday, March 11th. The forum will be held in Fremont at Irvington High School. Expert attorneys will provide free 1:1 legal consultations, a know your rights presentation about travel, interactions with DHS and the police, as well as resources related to hate crimes, discrimination, and harassment. This event has relevance to immigrants and citizens alike, as our goal is to empower our communities through knowledge.

(You can attend without signing up. However, we encourage you to sign up in advance in order to ensure we have enough attorneys to provide legal advice. Registration opens at 9:30, and the event itself begins at 10:00.)

We are looking for volunteer attorneys who have at least 2 years of immigration experience. If that's you, please sign up here. We welcome volunteers with other backgrounds as well, as there are ways for everyone to contribute.
