The Foundation Board consists of the Executive Committee of the SABA-NC Board and the following At-Large Directors:
Minal Haymond is a labor and employment associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She represents employers in a diverse range of matters, including defending businesses in wage and hour litigation, contractual disputes, class action suits, and single plaintiff suits involving breach of contract, discrimination, and wrongful termination in state and federal court. She has experience representing clients in the entertainment, healthcare, transportation and manufacturing industries. Minal earned an undergraduate degree at Cornell University, before gaining her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
Shailey Jain is an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
Sonakshi Jha is an associate at Troutman Sanders LLP and focuses her practice in finance. She represents financial institutions in venture debt lending and in leveraged finance transactions. Her experience includes representing clients in secured and unsecured financings in domestic and international transactions involving acquisition finance, asset based loans, cash flow loans, syndicated loans and multi-currency loans.
Sonakshi grew up in New Delhi, India and prior to working as an attorney in the United States, Sonakshi worked as an attorney in India, where she represented clients in domestic and cross border M&A transactions.
Miku H. Mehta is a Partner in Procopio’s Silicon Valley office, advising clients on intellectual property, patent prosecution and counseling, as well as trademarks and copyrights. Prior to coming to Silicon Valley, he spent almost a decade in Japan work as an intellectual property attorney, and was a computer programmer and entrepreneur for several years prior to entering the legal profession. He earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering and Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.
Rishi Satia is an Associate in Morgan Lewis’ San Francisco office where his practice focuses on antitrust litigation, transactional work, and counseling. Rishi received his JD from George Washington University and his undergraduate degrees in Political Science and History from UC San Diego. Rishi grew up in the South Bay and is thrilled to be practicing in the Bay Area after spending the last 6 years in Washington, D.C.
Azima Subedar is currently an in-house attorney for Robert Half’s Commercial Law & Transactions department. Prior to coming to Robert Half, Azima worked in both the private and public sectors, including a position at a New Jersey-based healthcare system, and as a prosecutor for the Kern County District Attorney’s office after law school. While living in Philadelphia, she was also an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at Temple University. Azima earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Komey Vishakan is General Counsel of the Palo Alto Unified School District.
