Amit Saha

Amit K. Saha is an associate with the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery, in San Francisco. He advises clients on intellectual property litigation and transactional matters, as well as patent prosecution in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Prior to his legal career, Amit was a Senior Research Engineer at Stanford University and was an interdisciplinary biomedical researcher for several years. Amit also sits on the advisory board of Lumenci. Amit earned his undergraduate in biotechnology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (India), Ph.D. in biomedical engineering jointly from The University of Texas at San Antonio and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.


Angad Singh

Angad Singh serves as a Deputy District Attorney at the Napa County District Attorney’s Office, representing the South Asian perspective within the criminal justice system while working to build trust among underrepresented populations. A graduate of Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Santa Clara University’s School of Law, Angad actively contributed to his legal education as President of the Criminal Law Society, Vice President of the South Asian Law Student Association, a member of the law school’s Trial Team, an executive board member of Honors Moot Court, and a fellow at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy. His professional experience encompasses criminal law, regulatory compliance, and civil litigation, providing him with versatility in addressing complex legal challenges throughout his career.


Manprit Brar

Manprit Brar is a seasoned technology attorney based in San Francisco with extensive experience leading commercial strategy and legal risk management for global tech giants and AI innovators. Currently serving as Senior Commercial Counsel at NVIDIA, Manprit specializes in drafting and negotiating complex hardware, SaaS, and licensing agreements while developing scalable processes for cross-functional teams. Manprit's background includes high-impact roles at Groq, Inc., where she negotiated first-of-kind “Tokens-as-a-Service” AI inference agreements, and Google, where she managed over $2.2B in enterprise SaaS and procurement contracts. Manprit is a dedicated mentor for law students and underrepresented groups in the legal profession. Originally from Canada, Manprit defies stereotypes with her inability to ice skate and her dislike of poutine, though she remains a loyal fan of Tim Hortons.


Miku H. Mehta

Miku H. Mehta is a Partner in Procopio’s Silicon Valley office, advising clients on intellectual property, patent prosecution and counseling, as well as trademarks and copyrights. He is the leader of Procopio’s Intellectual Property team and its Asia Pacific practice. Prior to coming to Silicon Valley, he spent almost a decade in Japan work as an intellectual property attorney, and was a computer programmer and entrepreneur for several years prior to entering the legal profession. He earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering and Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.


Reena Bajpai

Reena Bajpai is Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Gilead Sciences, Inc.  An accomplished legal executive, Reena brings extensive expertise in patent law, IP strategy, and pharmaceutical innovation.  Prior to joining Gilead, she worked as a patent agent and later as a patent attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.  She earned her J.D. from UC Berkeley, holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.  Passionate about bridging science, law, and business, Reena is committed to aligning legal frameworks with innovation and organizational goals.


Sanjeet Ganjam

Sanjeet Ganjam is a trial lawyer with the firm of Shartsis Friese LLP in San Francisco. He represents private companies and their owners and managers in a range of business disputes. He specializes in fiduciary disputes among founders, investors and managers of closely-held companies. Sanjeet earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.


Vishal Parikh

Vishal Parikh is Senior Patent Counsel at Johnson & Johnson in the MedTech Surgery division. He advises on a wide range of IP, patent, and litigation issues related to surgical robotic systems. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Vishal was a patent associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius specializing in medical devices and software related technologies. Prior to his time at Morgan Lewis, Vishal worked at Cooper & Dunham, where he focused his practice on patent litigation matters. Vishal earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School, his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, and his B.S. in Applied Sciences and Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
